Mike not bad story. I had a relative who was killed from a black bear . there not as big like a grizzly but if you have a black bear on you, best to fight for all your might chances are, it will try to kill you on the stop.

Huuuuuuge difference between a black bear (the bear that attacked him) and a grizzly bear.

Black bears: about 250-500 lbs, about 6 ft tall.

Grizzly bears: about 1000 lbs, 8 ft tall.

Still damn impressive, but I’m tellin ya: if it was a grizzly, all you’d see is this guy’s shoe in grizzly bear poop.
